FROM A BACKPACK TO A SPLASHPACK

If I asked you what you would take away from this past season from Draymond Green, I can imagine a couple responses.

  • You might start with the fact that he was suspended for hella long (12-game suspension) for doing unsportsmanlike conduct on the court.
  • You could also go with his leadership helping the Golden State Warriors to a 33-22 record in games he played.
  • You could also talk about him keeping up his award winning podcast, "The Draymond Green Show" throughout the season to expand his portfolio of telecommunications greatness.

But what about this: Green just had the best three-point shooting season of his professional career! He was 51-of-129 from the beyond the arc, good enough for an average of 39.5%. That surpassed his mythical 38.8% shooting percentage from the 2015-16 season, previously his golden standard for what full-powered offense Dray looks like.

That's pretty impressive considering he's been mocked for having a shooting form that looks like he's wearing a backpack and many teams gameplan has been to leave Green open from deep since he's probably a worst shooter than STEPHEN CURRY AND KLAY THOMPSON.

This season he shot with confidence, hitting treys and demoralizing opponents like a prime sniper.

This is what it looks like when a legend puts in the hard work! Time to hit 40% next year Dray!
