A welcome Wednesday off in camp.

The Yankees have the day off from exhibition play today, and it gives us all a second to catch our breath. It's been a simply brutal month at camp for the Yankees, with a chunk of their pitching staff felled by injuries, to go along with Giancarlo Stanton's balky elbows. They're also coming off a pair of sizable losses in split-squad play yesterday, though the news wasn't all bad, as Clarke Schmidt looked healthy in making his spring debut. Schmidt's ability to stay on track to start the sixth game of the season is crucial given the rest of the injuries to the rotation.

On the site today, get started with our daily trivia game. Later, our season previews continue, with Josh's look at the perennially contending Astros, whose window could be closing, as well as John's preview of George Lombard Jr.'s season. Also, Jeff makes the case for Kyle Gibson as a last-minute free agent target.

Today's Matchup:

Off-day.

Questions/Prompts:

1. How likely do you think the Yankees are to address their starting rotation via trade at some point this season?

2. Any Knicks/Yankees fans smarting over the double-whammy of injuries to Gerrit Cole and Jalen Brunson in the same week? (Thankfully, Brunson's injury doesn't seem season-ending)
