Bringing us into Sunday morning.
The weekend is closing out, and we're gone another week without any meaningful action on the Yankees' part. It's not entirely surprising, as they've only got a few more moves to make and the hot stove is running on fumes league-wide at the moment, but we'd still appreciate something fresh to talk about!
In the meantime, we've still got ground to cover on what they've already done this year. Estevão starts us off with a look at how the Yankees have reconstructed their bullpen to go back to a strikeout-heavy approach, and then Matt has some fun looking at Yankees win streaks from the past that could've gotten to franchise-best stretches had it not been for one pesky loss sandwiching them. Nick Power gives the latest Could-Have-Been entry on the semi-journeyman career of Ted Lilly (who at least fared better than Jeff Weaver), and then John closes us out with the weekly social media spotlight.
Questions/Prompts:
1. Will the Yankees make a move for an infielder by the end of the month, or will this drag out until spring training?
2. Has the urge to watch any baseball at all gotten you hyped for spring games, or are you still in hibernation mode/watching other sports?
