Today on Pinstripe Alley - 1/18/25

Rolling into the weekend with one less big name on the board.
The offseason has seen a lot of big name players move around, and plenty of them were surprises, but most folks had Roki Sasaki penciled into the Dodgers' rotation from the get-go and it at last became official yesterday after the Japanese ace posted a picture of a Dodgers cap on Instagram. His posting sweepstakes had been narrowed down to the Dodgers and Blue Jays, with Toronto losing out on yet another key piece in what has been a frustrating run for them. Los Angeles continues to get even more stacked, but from a Yankees perspective, at least he isn't helping an AL East foe.
Today on the site we're starting off with Casey giving some inspiration to get through the doldrums of the deep winter period, and then we're moving into a Matt double-feature: first he has some fun with an inverse on our Could Have Beens series by talking about some Very Much Weres before going back to the former and adding the latest installment with a look at Drew Henson's career. Later in the day, Peter takes Brian Cashman to task with an overall year poll for 2024 after recapping the wild rollercoaster his approval rating went on.
Questions/Prompts:
1. Is there a comparable rotation to the current Dodgers staff in modern memory, or are they entering 1-of-1 territory?
2. Who ya got in tonight's NFL games: Texans or Chiefs and Commanders or Lions?
