The Toronto Raptors will be missing a player who is in the midst of a resurgent season against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

Ochai Agbaji has been ruled out with a hand laceration, according to Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy.

The six-foot-five wing is averaging 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists over a team-high 39 games played this season.

Agbaji, 24, struggled out of the gate with the Raptors after coming over along with Kelly Olynyk in a trade with the Utah Jazz at the 2023-24 deadline.

The Milwaukee, Wis. native scuffled from the three-point line in particular last season, shooting 21.7 per cent on 2.6 attempts per game. In 2024-25, Agbaji has improved significantly, shooting 40.3 per cent from deep on 3.9 attempts.
