The NBA is in good hands.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards once again proved that he’s reached superstar status on Sunday night, taking over in the fourth quarter and leading his team to a first-round sweep of the Phoenix Suns.

Edwards was sitting at just nine points heading into the second half, and he knew that he needed to pick things up.

“I came out (in the second half) like I got nine points, there is no way we can win this game if I don’t get myself going,” Edwards told the NBA on TNT panel after the game.

And get himself going he did.

The 22-year-old Edwards would finish the game with 40 points, including 18 in the final frame to secure the win and the Timberwolves’ first playoff series win in 20 years.

His fourth quarter also included a massive jam over NBA legend Kevin Durant and a huge block on Devin Booker that had basketball fans buzzing on social media.

Here are some of the best reactions to Edwards’ big second half.
