Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is headed back to "Fight Island."
The promotion today announced its next overseas "Fight Night" card for Sat., July 26, 2025 on Yas Island inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE. No fights have been announced at this time; however, a main event is likely to be revealed in the coming weeks.
"Get ready for an electrifying night of action as some of UFC's elite athletes step into the Octagon on Yas Island," the promotion wrote in today's release. "This is your chance to witness world-class battles up close and experience the intensity and excitement like never before!"
"UFC has cemented its place as a key part of the sports and entertainment scene in the region, with Abu Dhabi hosting over 20 thrilling events since 2010. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of the legacy of one of the world's most popular sports this summer!"
UFC has not staged an event in Abu Dhabi since last August, when Cory Sandhagen dropped a unanimous decision to Umar Nurmagomedov. The victory was enough to send Umar into a bantamweight title shot at UFC 311, where he eventually fell to current 135-pound champion, Merab Dvalishvili.
Broadcast plans For UFC Abu Dhabi on July 26 have yet to be revealed.
