'Smile Killer' vs. 'Beast Boy' Added To UFC Saudi Arabia

Someone's four-fight winning streak has to go.
Today (Tues., Dec. 24, 2024), MMAMania.com has confirmed with multiple sources that French Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight fighter Fares Ziam will collide with Mike Davis at UFC Saudi Arabia on Feb. 1, 2025, inside The Venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Ziam (16-4) scored his first UFC finish in his last outing, which was nasty. At UFC Paris in September, Ziam sent Matt Frevola to the shadow realm with an absolutely brutal standing knee (watch highlights). "Smile Killer" is 6-2 in the promotion and is riding a four-fight win streak with wins over Claudio Puelles and Jai Herbert.
Davis (11-2) finished Natan Levy in his last outing via arm triangle, his only fight in 2024 (he was scheduled against Drew Dober but pulled out due to a torn bicep). Like his upcoming opponent, "Beast Boy," Davis is currently on a four-fight win streak with wins over Viacheslav Borshchev andMason Jones. His only loss came against Gilbert Burns.
