"Platinum" wants "Ruthless."

The final Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) event went down last night (Sat., Dec. 21, 2024) from inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla, and there were several first-round finishes.

During the broadcast, BKFC superstar Mike Perry got on the mic and called out former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.

"I see Robbie Lawler in the crowd," Perry said. "I think he should take the gloves off, and he should step inside the squared circle against 'Platinum' Mike Perry."

There is no doubt that Lawler and BKFC are a match in violent heaven, but he is 42 years old and took a lifetime of damage.

Perry and Lawler were supposed to collide in 2020 for UFC 255; however, "Ruthless" pulled out with an injury. The fight was never rebooked as Perry left the promotion, and Lawler would fight three more times and then had a picture-perfect retirement.

MMAMania.com can confirm that BKFC was interested in signing Lawler for a Perry matchup, but negotiations were unknown.

Perry, 33, only fought once in 2024 for BKFC, stopping Thiago Alves in a minute at BKFC: Knuckle Mania 4, and that's because he got plucked to box Jake Paul (watch highlights).
