Midnight Mania: Lord Demon Responds To Fearful Thug

03/18/2025 12:00 AM
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Jean Silva may be a "Lord Assassin," but he's no demon.
Having started his UFC career with four straight knockout wins, the Brazilian slugger is undeniably on a tear and has earned a step up in competition. After flatlining Melsik Baghdasaryan a few weeks ago (watch it), Silva called his shot, demanding a match up with controversial Adolf Hitler apologist Bryce Mitchell.
In less than a month, Silva has built has bout versus Mitchell into a must-see occasion. He brought a globe to the UFC 314 pre-fight press conference, led the crowd in a "F—k you Bryce" chant, and barked at his ranked Featherweight foe. It was great entertainment, but Mitchell didn't enjoy the show. Earlier today, "Thug Nasty" accused Silva of demonic powers, claiming the Brazilian cursed him with violent, sexual dreams.
That's a wild accusation, though par for the Bryce Mitchell course. Silva has taken the time to respond, and he thinks there might be a hormonal issue with his opponent responsible for the delusions dreams.
"Bryce, two things, these are not demons," Silva wrote on X. "It's just you being afraid to face me and second about the beautiful women you have a hormone called testosterone and you probably have problems with it. Just be ready for April 12th, because I will be."
Despite entering this high-profile match up as the more proven Featherweight who currently holds a UFC ranking, Mitchell is a substantial underdog. Is this another case of a Fighting Nerds talent breaking into the title mix, or will Jean Silva simply be the latest hyped prospect to suffer a FRAUD CHECK?

Sean Strickland vs. Robert Whittaker is such an obvious fight to make that it feels like a guarantee UFC will fail to book it.

It's difficult to have any faith in PFL with Donn Davis at the wheel.

Michael Oleksiejczuk often makes use of this same setup, throwing his left as an uppercut/hook into the mid-section after showing the straight.

I'm not sure if this is really a "KO clip" per say, but that's a big f—king dude in the boxing ring.

What's the most expensive steak you've ever eaten? I can't remember the end total, but my wife and I split a tomahawk in France on our honeymoon that I would assume holds my top spot.

Would you be willing to drop $3,200 per pound for premium Wagyu, or is that just crazy?
