Ailin 'Twerk' Perez, Tracy 'Dirty' Cortez Have Heated Backstage Clash

Argentina's Ailin Perez scored her fifth straight Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) win at UFC 311 last weekend (Sat., Jan. 18, 2025) when she defeated No. 8 ranked Karol Rosa via unanimous decision from inside Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.
Following her win, Perez was asked during her post-fight interview if she ran into one of her enemies, Tracy Cortez - who attended UFC 311 - and Argentinan ripped into the Flyweight fighter.
"That's trash. Don't name her in this conversation right now. Get better quality people to have beef for me while I'm here. It's my moment," Perez told the media. "There are other people. Get somebody else better. Make weight first, and then come talk to me. I'm not going to let anybody just ruin my moment right now...I'm not going to let some girl just hop on the bandwagon and try to grab my name – and someone dirty, nonetheless."
"She's crazy," Perez concluded. "Every time she sees me, she wants to jump me. I think she wants to be me. She is probably outside trying to maybe wait for a picture. She cannot believe how beautiful I am. I think she needs to go to the gym more."
Perez offered to fight Cortez after her UFC Paris win but did not really get a response from Cortez other than a single tweet saying she was "unbothered."
Last night (Mon., Jan. 20, 2025), two days after UFC 311, an angry Cortez went on Instagram Live to inform everyone that she confronted Perez at the event.
"Just landed. Hoo! Burning off a little adrenaline right now because I ran into my best friend, the girl that [twerks]," Cortez said. "I was like, 'No. What the f—k? Boss b-tch, you gonna do f—ng something?' She didn't do sh-t. She tried to shake my hand, p-ssy ass f—king b-tch. I said, 'No. If you're gonna f—king say something, stick to it.' She tried to shake my hand. I don't do sh-t for clout. I'm from the f—king hood. If you're gonna talk sh-t, stand by it. Cause I'm standing 10 toes down, b-tch when I see you."
Hopefully, they don't run into each other at the UFC P.I.
