Basically everyone loves round-number milestones, from 500 home runs to 300 pitcher wins to 3,000 strikeouts. The number 3,000 works quite well for a milestone. Currently, there are 19 pitchers who have racked up at least 3,000 K's in MLB. Here is that club in rarified air when it comes to bat whiffing.
