Minnesota makes it 12 straight with a well-fought win.

The Twins are unstoppable right now - winners of 12 STRAIGHT.

Backed by one of Pablo's best outings of the young season, the Twins came from behind and scattered eight hits to earn three runs, locking up another series win in the process.

Lopez's start felt shaky at times; a first-inning run, a few uncompetitive pitches, some innings wanting for economy -- and yet, when the dust settled, Lopez had turned in six innings of one-run ball, allowing five hits and striking out eight. You'll take that any time out.

Today, he delivered that performance in front of his new rooting section, which should probably have a name but is currently just a part of the "Pablo Day" package. Situated down the right field line, a vibrant section-- myself included! -- kept the Pablo chants rolling and Venezuelan flags waving; they earned a cursory acknowledgment from Lopez as he exited his start.

On the offensive side of things, a few key players helped make the difference. Willi Castro singled over the runner that later tied the game on a Carlos Correa first-inning groundout. In doing so, he extended a hitting streak to 10 games, reaching twice today and scoring once.

Correa had the second of three RBIs today, when a 105-mph rope to the deepest part of the ballpark went down as a sixth-inning sacrifice fly.

And Max Kepler, like a phoenix rising from the injured list, added a fourth-inning jolt.

So it's with a 3-1 lead that the Twins lock down this weekend set against the Boston Red Sox, with a chance to win 13 in a row tomorrow. They'll host the Seattle Mariners next across four home games; could it be possible that even the M's bear witness to this roll?
