Easy dubs.

Half an inning set the tone for this game.

Minneapolis scored four runs and hit two home runs in the top of the first, cruising to a 9-3 victory and reclaiming the series lead.

Despite Mark Guthrie giving up two-run shots to Royce Lewis and Jay Bell in the first then surrendering a fifth run on Jeff Reed's RBI double in the second, he settled down for the rest of his seven-inning outing, giving up just one run the rest of the way. Unfortunately, that first inning was enough to lock the Winners into the lead.

Bloomington scored single tallies in three frames, two coming on homers by Marty Cordova and Mitch Garver, but José Berríos pitched through seven without allowing the Berries to rally.

Meanwhile, the ninth saw Minneapolis extend their lead off relievers Ron Keller and Jovani Moran, Trevor Plouffe driving in a pair with a pinch-hit double and Ben Revere doubling Plouffe home, while Kyle Waldrop pitched a clean bottom of the frame to cinch the win.
