It's been a season from hell for Chris Taylor in 2024, but he got a start on Friday night facing Royals left-hander Cole Ragans. After falling behind 3-0 early, the Dodgers rallied for three runs off Ragans to tie the game in the fifth, with Taylor supplying the equalizer with his first home run of the season.

Taylor's home run was just his 10th hit of the season, in 92 at-bats, hitting only .109/.202/.152. But it was a big one, and snapped a streak of 164 plate appearances in between this and his last home run, on September 7, 2023 in Miami.
