Tracking LA's 40-man roster throughout the year

This is a summary of every Dodgers roster move involving the 40-man roster for the entire 2024 season, starting from the beginning of spring training through the end of LA's postseason.

All throughout the season, this page will be updated with every transaction, from trades to signings, to players getting called up from or sent down to the minor leagues, as well as players placed on or activated from the injured list. We'll also keep track of all the injured list moves and track every minor league option during the season in separate posts as well, with further detailed information.

We also kept track of every Dodgers move during the 2023-24 offseason (it was a very busy time for Los Angeles!), as well as every transaction during the 2023 season as well.

September 26: Anthony Banda was activated off the injured list, and Brent Honeywell was placed on the injured list.

September 26: Brusdar Graterol was placed on the injured list, and Ben Casparius was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City

September 26: Austin Barnes was activated off the injured list, and Hunter Feduccia was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

September 24: Edgardo Henriquez was selected from Triple-A Oklahoma City, Ben Casparius was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City, and Gavin Stone was transferred to the 60-day IL.

September 20: Ben Casparius was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City, and Zach Logue was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

September 18: Joe Kelly was activated off the injured list, Zach Logue was selected from Triple-A Oklahoma City, Bobby Miller and Michael Grove were optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City, and Tyler Glasnow was moved to the 60-day injured list.

September 16: Austin Barnes was placed on the 10-day injured list, and Hunter Feduccia was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

September 12: Nick Ramirez cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

September 10: Anthony Banda was placed on the 15-day injured list, and Brusdar Graterol was activated from the injured list.

September 10: Yoshinobu Yamamoto was activated off the 60-day injured list, and Nick Ramirez was designated for assignment.

September 10: Michael Petersen was claimed off waivers by the Marlins.

September 8: Nick Ramirez was selected from Triple-A Oklahoma City, Justin Wrobleski was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City, Michael Petersen was designated for assignment.

September 6: Gavin Stone was placed on the 15-day injured list, and Justin Wrobleski was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

August 31: Clayton Kershaw and Joe Kelly were placed on the 15-day injured list. Ben Casparius was recalled and Brent Honeywell was selected from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

August 29: Austin Barnes was activated off the injured list, and Hunter Feduccia was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

August 24: Jason Heyward cleared waivers and was released.

August 22: Jason Heyward was designated for assignment, and Chris Taylor was activated off the injured list.

August 22: Nick Ahmed cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City. He declined the assignment, and elected free agency.

August 21: Blake Treinen was activated from the injured list, and Ben Casparius was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

August 20: Brent Honeywell cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

August 18: Ben Casparius was selected from Triple-A Oklahoma City, and Brent Honeywell was designated for assignment.

July 29: Amed Rosario was acquired from the Rays for minor league pitcher Michael Flynn. Ryan Yarbrough was designated for assignment.

July 29: Dodgers acquired Tommy Edman and minor league pitcher Oliver Gonzalez from the Cardinals, and reliever Michael Kopech from the White Sox in a three-team trade. Dodgers sent Miguel Vargas and minor league infielders Jeral Perez and Alexander Albertus to the White Sox.

July 29: Ricky Vanasco was traded to the Tigers for cash considerations.

July 28: Yohan Ramírez was claimed off waivers by the Red Sox.

July 27: Freddie Freeman was placed on family emergency leave, and Hunter Feduccia was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

July 26: James Paxton was traded to the Red Sox for minor league infielder Moises Bolivar.

July 25: Chris Taylor was placed on the 10-day injured list, and James Outman was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
