2025 MLB regular season begins on Tuesday morning at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, with Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the Dodgers facing Shota Imanaga and the Cubs.

The Dodgers play a real game that counts on Tuesday, batting the Cubs at the Tokyo Dome for the first of two games in Japan. Chicago is considered the "home" team for both games.

Tuesday morning will feature two Japanese starting pitchers, with Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the mound for the Dodgers against left-hander Shota Imanaga for the Cubs. Both pitchers are beginning their second season in the majors after pitching for several seasons in Japan.

Joe Davis and Eric Karros will be on the call for SportsNet LA, while Tim Neverett and Rick Monday will call the game on radio from El Segundo for AM 570. Fox will also televise opening day in a non-exclusive broadcast, and one that won't be blacked out locally.
