The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to new contracts with pitchers Dustin May and Tony Gonsolin to avoid arbitration. Both pitchers will return for the 2025 season. However, the team non-tendered right-handed reliever Brent Honeywell, who will now head to free agency.
Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani opened up about Roki Sasaki, who he was teammates with during the 2023 World Baseball Classic. Sasaki will be posted by the Chiba Lotte Marines to sign with an MLB team, and the Dodgers are favorites to land him.
Finally, Athletics manager Mark Kotsay revealed that the Athletics were interested in signing Dodgers free agent pitcher Walker Buehler. The Athletics have spoken to Buehler, who sealed the Dodgers’ World Series victory.
