LeBron James has widely been expected to play one to two more seasons in the NBA, but his exact timeline is unclear and he doesn't appear to even know when he'll decide to retire. James turned 40 in December and is in his 21st season in the NBA.

"It's popping up more and more every year," said James on Wednesday's 'Pat McAfee Show'. "Obviously, I know that I'm on the other side of the hill than the other side. For me, it's about my mind. I'm all about the process. If it gets to the point where I don't feel like showing up to the arena five hours in advance. Or I don't feel like training. Or I don't feel like studying the scout sheet of guys. If it gets to that point, I'll know, 'You know what, Bron, that's a wrap.' I will be able to tell."

James is on track to make an All-NBA team for the 19th time in his career with the only times he wasn't on one coming as a rookie in 2004 and his injury-shortened 18-19 season.
