The "world's hottest Olympian" had everyone's attention with her outfit on New Year's Eve.

Alica Schmidt, the German sprinter and middle distance runner, took to her Instagram page - where she has millions of followers - to show off her New Year's Eve outfit. It was pretty stunning.

The 26-year-old 5-foot-9 athlete took to Instagram, where she has more than six million followers, to post photos of her New Year's Eve dress.

"2025 - let's make it a one to remember ✨," she wrote.

Schmidt's outfit drew a lot of fan reaction.

"One more year & still here !!! Let's go 2025 !!!🔥😍😍," one fan wrote.

"😘💌.....Wow, 😍🫦extra gorgeousness going on in these photos😍😘," one fan added.

"The most beautiful woman in the world!!! 😍😍😍😍," one fan added.

The 2025 season could be a big one for Alica. She announced earlier in 2024 that she would be changing distances.

She announced in November that she would be going after the 800m.

"It's been quite a year 🤯 It was filled with so many highlights and I made some memories that will last forever: 🇧🇸 from the world relays in the Bahamas, where we qualified the mixed relay for the Olympics 🇮🇹 to the European championships in Rome, where we qualified the women's 4x400m for Paris 🇩🇪 to the German nationals 🇫🇷 and of course: THE OLYMPICS🥹," she wrote.

"After Paris I tried something new and ran a 800m & 600m and really enjoyed pushing out of my comfort zone. Back in 2022, I decided that I wanted to give the 800m a shot after the Paris Olympics, so now it means… I'm going for it next year 👀 I'm on my way to my first high altitude training camp where I'll join an international 800m group to train alongside great athletes where I can learn a lot. I'm super excited for this new challenge and what it will bring ✨ (I'm also going to run the 400m but focus more on the endurance part in training for now) Let this journey begin .. xoxo."

Happy New Year, Alica and everyone.
