WNBA Star Caitlin Clark Gets Brutally Honest On Her 'Biggest Fear'

It doesn't matter if she's suiting up for Iowa or the Indiana Fever, it's pretty apparent that Caitlin Clark is fearless on the basketball court. Off it though, there's one fear that she just can't shake off.
While at the Women's Leadership Summit this week, Clark opened up about her biggest fear in life. It turns out she's not a fan of cats. In fact, she's been scared of them since her early childhood.
"I really don't like cats," Clark said. "There was this black cat on my street going up that was so mean. So, I'm scarred. I really am scared of cats. I'm sorry if any of you have a cat. I like dogs a lot, but no cats."
This admission from Clark may surprise people, but she's been pretty open about her fear of cats. During an appearance on former Iowa teammate Jada Gyamfi's podcast, the NCAA's all-time leading scorer shared another cat-related story.
"The bad thing was the cats, I hate cats," Clark said, via Athlon Sports. "And they were running around everywhere. Remember we were eating outside that one restaurant, I think it was a Mexican restaurant one of the nights and we went down the alleyway and there was a cat that was running under my feet and I was freaking out."
It's safe to say Clark won't be adopting a cat anytime soon. Maybe, just maybe though, her stance will change in the future.
In the meantime, Clark is doing all she can to enjoy the WNBA offseason. She's been watching NBA games, attending key events, and -- of course -- working on her game.
