WNBA Star Angel Reese Received Extremely Creepy Letter From Prisoner

Angel Reese has become such a big star on and off the basketball court the last two years that she's cultivated fans in the most unlikely places.
In a recent episode of her "Unapologetically Angel" podcast, Reese went into detail about a particularly creepy admirer she had when she was a star at LSU. At the time, the "Bayou Barbie" caught the attention of some men who were incarcerated, and one of them was particularly persistent in reaching out to her.
"When I was in college, somehow, some way, these men in jail used to send letters – like love letters. Somehow, one of them got my address, my mom's address. And my mom had to like do all that and call the police and all that," Reese said, via Fox News Digital.
"He talking about, 'When I get out I'm coming for you. I'm going to be with you. We going to have kids.' Sir, take a timeout."
"People are crazy," Reese added after he guest, singer/actress Coco Jones, suggested that the man have additional prison time tacked on for "scary behavior."
Obviously, it's good that Reese and her family stopped this early, because things could have gotten quite scary if the man ever did get out of jail.
The No. 7 overall pick in this year's WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky, Reese lived up to the billing as a rookie. She averaged 13.6 points and a league-high 13.1 rebounds per game in 34 contests before her season was cut short by a wrist injury.
"Basically, the doctors told me that I could either not get surgery or have surgery. The risk of not having surgery - I could literally have arthritis at 22 years old. That wasn't an option," Reese said in September. "The bone could literally crack and completely shatter. Right now, it's like a hairline. They're going to put a small screw in it."
Reese was also one of only two first-year players named to the WNBA All-Star Game, along with Caitlin Clark. The sky is the limit for her, no pun intended, in 2025 and beyond.
