Mother Nature is legitimately impacting this year's coaching cycle. That might sound like a stretch, but one NFL team can't do in-person interviews right now due to inclement weather.

On Tuesday morning, ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler reported that two in-person interviews for the New Orleans Saints have been postponed. They were expected to speak with New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver over the next 24 hours. That won't be the case anymore.

New Orleans is expected to receive anywhere from 4-8 inches of snow this week due to a winter storm. That has really complicated matters for the Saints.

"Inclement weather in New Orleans has affected in-person interviews for the Saints head coaching job," Fowler wrote on social media. "Giants OC Mike Kafka and Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver among candidates whose interviews are getting pushed back, per sources. Kafka now in the Friday-Saturday range."

To make matters worse for the Saints, their interview with Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn will now be delayed as well. That's if he doesn't agree to a deal with the New York Jets. He'll be meeting with his former team this afternoon.

On the bright side, the Saints should still have an opportunity to meet with Kafka and Weaver. They're not the only candidates in the mix though. Mike McCarthy is emerging as a serious candidate for the job in New Orleans. He's reportedly in the process of setting up an interview.

"The Saints are setting up an in-person interview with Mike McCarthy, per source. Logistics are still being set. Weather and all that has to be worked around, but goal is this week," Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football said.

The Saints are most likely heading for a rebuild. Their roster isn't built to win right now, they have a poor cap situation, and they don't have a franchise quarterback they can lean on for the next five years.

That being said, there are only 32 head-coaching jobs in the NFL. One of these intriguing candidates will convince themselves they can fix the franchise. Who knows? They might be right.

Unfortunately for the Saints, they'll have to wait a few more days until they officially meet with these candidates.
