Several players from the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays will likely be sitting on the bench for a few games in the coming days.

In the top of the eighth inning Rays center fielder Jose Siri grounded out to first base, which was manned by pitcher Abner Uribe. The duo started jawing at each other and that eventually turned into a melee that sent both benches flying onto the field.

Siri and Uribe started with a verbal dialogue before an umpire jumped in to break up the spat. Unfortunately, Uribe decided it was necessary to start throwing punches - none of which landed thankfully - and the brouhaha began.

Check it out.

"Uribe and Siri exchanging some words...and here we go," the Brewers play-by-play man said. "Oh boy that's not what you want to see. Bullpens empty. Abner Uribe...as soon as he got to first base Siri kept going."

Uribe only faced Siri during the game, though it's unclear if the Brewers planned to use him for a bit longer. After throwing a few haymakers they likely won't be able to use him for at least a game or two coming up.
