The College Football Playoff quarterfinals are set, with eight teams remaining in the national championship chase.

Texas, the No. 5 seed, controlled 12th-seeded Clemson for almost all of their first round matchup Saturday, eventually securing a 38-24 win. As a result, the Longhorns now move on to face No. 4 seed Arizona State in the Peach Bowl on New Year's Day. The Longhorns are currently 13.5-point favorites, and Urban Meyer thinks they'll cover the spread.

On "The Triple Option" Monday, Meyer predicted that Texas will be too much for ASU to handle. He expects the Longhorns to roll by two touchdowns or more.

"The line of scrimmage, because it's going to be a field position game, Texas up front, offense, defense, I think they cover the spread, and I think, I'm looking at Texas right now if they can get that quarterback healthy, what other team has more balance offensive and defensive line than University of Texas right now?" Meyer said. "They proved it against Clemson, they just controlled, they screwed around a little bit, that game could have got out of hand fast, but they ran the ball up and down against Clemson."

Meyer went on to give props to Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham and star running back Cam Skattebo, saying that the Sun Devils have "a great future there" but he feels they are "running into a buzz saw with Texas."
