It hasn't taken long for viewers to be annoyed by the NFC Championship's referees.

After a relatively smooth first quarter with little to no flags, a pile up of penalties occurred on the Eagles' possession following their fumble recovery and fans were over it pretty quickly.

"So what else is there to watch until 330?" a user asked. "This is the refs and eagles vs the Commanders ... Unwatchable football."

"NFL is unwatchable now," another claimed. "Every game is decided by inconsistent calls. Refs play too big of a part in football."

"I understand calling holdings and PI's but these refs calling ticky tack late hits make this [expletive] unwatchable. No one [expletive] came to see the refs [expletive]," a fan commented.

"This game is unwatchable. The refs have absolutely ruined football."

"NFL is unwatchable. Refs have taken over the game with the atrocious calls. The No Fun League is back," another user announced.

"This sport is becoming unwatchable," another person said. "The play matters less and less and which calls the refs make matters more and more."

"Refs are blatantly giving this game to the Eagles. NFL is rigged and worse than the WWE. It's unwatchable."

This is far from the first time football fans have expressed such sentiments. And the league is reportedly looking into expanding its replay assist to apply to situations like the quarterback slide and helmet-to-helmet.

It's always great when the refs try to stay out of the way and let the players play but so far that hasn't been the first half we've experienced.

We'll see how the officials choose to call it coming out of the halftime locker room with Philadelphia up 27-15.
