Dana White promised future involvement in another combat sport.

The UFC founder flew to Dublin, Ireland, for Friday's boxing match between Callum Walsh and Przemek Runowski. On Thursday, White said he'll continue to explore a boxing relationship.

White teased "some big announcements soon" when declaring his intent to enter the boxing sphere.

"I never say anything that I don't do, ever," White claimed, via Happy Punch. "I've never said anything like that, and we've been kicking the whole boxing thing around for a long time. You've never heard me commit and say, 'I'm in.' I'm in."

The promoter got a taste of boxing when UFC star Connor McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather in a grand-scale crossover event. Shortly after the 2017 fight, White said he was seeking a promoter's license and "getting into boxing, 100 percent."

White told the Los Angeles Times that he was pursuing an arrangement with Ari Emanuel, now the CEO of the Endeavor company that owns UFC and WWE, to promote boxing within the UFC.

"It's still early. We're still working on it," White said in November 2017. "I've got to get my [stuff] together, but I'm getting into boxing, man. It's coming."

White changed his tune two years ago when calling boxing "a broken business."

"Every time I try to think about doing something with boxing, I go, 'Why would I want to do this to myself?'" White said on BLOCK Party. "You know what I mean? Why would I even want to dive into this nightmare?"

Fans will have to wait and see if White means business about boxing this time.
