U.S. Track Star Got Locked In Bathroom During Olympic Trials

A United States track and field star got locked in the bathroom during the 2024 Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon over the weekend.

Kendall Ellis, 28, revealed that she got locked in the bathroom an hour before her race on Saturday.

She still managed to PR.

"it's been 6 years since i've PRed in the 400m. my first time running 49 in my professional career, the last time was in college at the pac-12 championships God is so so so good," she said.

"and during this time I've still made world teams, Olympic teams, and won races but a PR hits different yall FINALLY."

She added: "also i got locked in the bathroom an hour before the race. s/o to the kind sir who managed to get me out because i was in there crying and sweating."

Ellis didn't let the bathroom situation get to her, as she ran the fastest 400 time of her life, qualifying for the United States track and field team. 

The United States track and field Olympic trials will continue live from Eugene, Oregon on Monday evening.
