A U.S. Representative is turning heads with her 47th birthday photo shared to social media.

Nancy Mace, an American politician who serves as the U.S. representative for South Carolina's 1st congressional district, has been representing the The Palmetto State since 2021. The Republican previously became the first woman to graduate from the Corps of Cadets program at The Citadel in 1999.

This week, the popular U.S. politician celebrated her birthday. She turned 47 years old.

"Kids, and their dad, took me out for barbecue for my birthday. 47 never felt so good! 🎂" she wrote.

"Happy birthday 🥳 keep up the good fight, so appreciate your hard work for all of us girls❤️🤍💙🇺🇸," one fan wrote.

"happy birthday NaNcY you are amazing. Keep up the fight for America.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸," one fan added.

Others, meanwhile, were critical of her, due to her political views.

"Happy birthday, Nancy! 🎉 Take us back to 1950! Maybe women'll go back to wearing bobby socks and poodle skirts and we'll have segregated bathrooms to reinforce the antiquarian values that you champion. Hallelujah! 🙌," one fan added.

"Gosh, I thought you were much older based on your old fashioned views of the world and neurotic obsession with restroom matters! Happy Birthday though!" one fan added.

Barbecue and family is a pretty good way to spend a birthday, no matter where your political views lie.
