Two AFC teams can clinch their spots in the NFL playoffs with wins this weekend.

The Kansas City Chiefs can clinch a playoff spot with a win against the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday along with a loss by the Miami Dolphins or they can clinch with a win and a loss by the Denver Broncos.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills can clinch the AFC East with a win plus a Dolphins loss.

The Bills and Chiefs have been two of the best teams in the NFL this year so it's not surprising to see that they can already clinch playoff berths as soon as this weekend. It's a matter of when, not if, for both teams.

The Chiefs won their first nine games of this season before losing in Buffalo to the Bills on November 17. It was a little bit of payback for the Bills since they just lost to them in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Bills are 9-2 heading into this Sunday's showdown in Orchard Park against the 5-6 San Francisco 49ers. Even if they don't clinch the division this week, they will at some point.

There's a good chance that the Bills and Chiefs will be the top two seeds in the AFC when the playoffs roll around and will more than likely see one another in January. The question will be whether the game is played in Kansas City or Buffalo.

Other teams that are in the mix for the playoffs in the AFC include the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, and the Houston Texans.
