Two NFL teams have been accused of losing their Week 18 games on purpose this Sunday.

The final week of the 2024 NFL regular season is wrapping up on Sunday. The Week 18 schedule will conclude with a Sunday Night Football game between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings, who are playing for the NFC North title and No. 1 overall seed in the conference. Hopefully, we get a good, fun game between the two divisional rivals.

There's been a lot of surprising results throughout the league on Sunday. Two NFL teams have been accused of losing their Week 18 games on purpose.

NFL fans are not happy.

The Bills lost to the Patriots, 23-16

Did the Bills lose to the Patriots on purpose? Buffalo had little to play for on Sunday, but New England needed a loss to get the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Some believe that the Bills lost on purpose, to make sure that a divisional rival didn't get the top overall pick.

"You can't tell me that the Bills aren't doing this on purpose," one fan wrote.

"all joking aside the bills are very clearly losing this on purpose, the league should punish them," one fan added.

"This is the most obvious lose on purpose game I've ever seen I demand a full investigation into the bills," one fan added.

"The Bills are doing this on purpose," one fan added.

The Patriots ended up winning the game, losing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and head coach Jerod Mayo was fired immediately after the game.

The Chiefs are losing to the Broncos, 31-0

Are the Chiefs losing to the Broncos on purpose to keep Joe Burorw and the Bengals out of the playoffs?

Kansas City is playing without several key players on Sunday, but the Chiefs have absolutely laid down and taken a beating at Denver. The Bengals, who beat the Steelers on Saturday night, needed the Chiefs to beat the Broncos to have a shot at making the postseason. Kansas City made sure that didn't happen.

"This is the first time I felt like a team is losing on purpose lol No way the backups are this bad on the Chiefs… sorry bengal fans," one fan wrote.

"It's looking so obvious that the Chiefs are selling on purpose 💀," one fan added.

"Patrick Mahomes realizing if the Chiefs lose to the Broncos on purpose, Joe Burrow and the Bengals are out of the playoffs," one fan added.

"Are the Chiefs going to lose on purpose?" another fan wondered.

Hey, you can't really blame the Bills or the Chiefs for doing what they've done. They're not going to do something that could help a conference rival, right?
