Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Forced To Follow 3 Rules On Game Day

Even though Taylor Swift has no impact on Kansas City Chiefs games, there are a few rules she has to follow due to her relationship with Travis Kelce.  

Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman, recently spoke to PEOPLE about certain rules the team has in place during the season. There are three in particular that apply to Kelce and Swift. The first rule regards the Super Bowl champions' curfew. 

Players on the Chiefs have an 11 p.m. curfew the night before games. If Kelce stays out past curfew, he'd be subject to discipline. The NFL's collective bargaining agreement states the following: "Any material curfew violation the night prior to the Club's game may be considered conduct detrimental to the Club upon player's first offense." 

The second rule that affects Swift is that significant others must stay in separate hotel rooms. Gordon told PEOPLE, "Ain't no staying in no same room." The Chiefs are apparently very strict about this rule. 

The third and final rule that Swift must follow is pretty interesting. Wives and girlfriends of Chiefs players cannot board the team's plane after away games.

Jayla Thornton-Cook, the wife of Chiefs safety Bryan Cook, opened up about this rule.

"They leave by themselves," she said. "You're more than welcome to go to a game and you can see them after, and then they're getting right back on the flight and they're coming right back home that night."

So far, Kelce and Swift have done a great job of following the rules. We don't expect that to change anytime soon. 

It's unclear if Swift will attend this Sunday's home game for the Chiefs. They're looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season.
