Travis Kelce Taking Heat For His Behavior On Chiefs Bench

Travis Kelce had a bad attitude on Sunday night.

The Kansas City Chiefs topped the Atlanta Falcons, 22-17, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday evening. Kansas City is now 3-0 on the year with wins over the Ravens, Bengals and Falcons. But Kelce has been struggling. The Chiefs tight end has just eight catches for 69 yards on the year. He's looked far from an All-Pro caliber player. Kelce was pretty pouty on the bench on Sunday night, too.

Kelce is typically energetic and upbeat. But on Sunday night, he looked pretty defeated.

NFL fans aren't thrilled with his performance so far.

"It's a retirement year for him for sure. He has a few good games left, but he is all but done," one fan wrote.

"I would be to if im getting open and the qb isnt even trynna look my way," one fan added.

"He's kinda got that pre-divorce Ben Affleck look," one fan added.

"This is what happens when you have to act like a completely different person for a year," one fan added.

"taylor swift sucked the passion out of this man," one fan added.

Patrick Mahomes, though, claims that Kelce is just being keyed on by the defenses. 

"Yeah, it's crazy because teams still — the respect factor they have for Travis is just unreal," Mahomes said. "It's well-deserved, but we're calling a lot of plays for Travis, and it's like two or three people are going to him. So, I mean, he understands.

"I think that's the great thing about him is he wants to make an impact on the game, but he wants to win at the end of the day."

It's only been three games, so perhaps Kelce will turn it around. The playoffs are all that matter, anyway.
