Travis Hunter is going through it right now.
The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner is a little more than a week removed from winning the sport's most prestigious individual award. He's probably going to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft in a couple of months. But this week, he's dealing with some major criticism of his relationship with his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, who took heat for her behavior at the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York City.
Hunter, who recently deleted his Instagram account, is fed up with the criticism.
"You ain't never had no girl so why are y'all talking about me," Hunter told his critics in a livestream on Twitch. "Find someone else to talk about… Go talk about your girl. Go find a girl. Go find a life. Stop worrying about what I got going on. I know what I got.
"My girl been with me for five years. y'all are just now starting to talk about me… y'all go do something else with y'all life. Clickbait pages stop, y'all better stop I'm telling y'all. Something bad is gonna happen to y'all [if you] keep doing that. Y'all better stop that. I ain't playing."
Leanna, meanwhile, has done the same. She deleted her Instagram account last week, following the criticism at the Heisman Trophy ceremony.
Leanna had developed a big-time following on social media. She turned heads with a stunning black swimsuit photo shared to her Instagram account.
The stunning fiancee of the Colorado Buffaloes star turned heads with her swimsuit photo.
Hunter's teammate, Shedeur Sanders, had a message for the critics, too. He's backing up his wide receiver and cornerback.
"All y'all athletes, entertainers, artist etc if y'all genuine trying to holla at trav y'all know how to get in touch with him or someone around. At this point y'all just posting for the algorithm trying to look cool," he wrote.

Hopefully, Hunter isn't letting the criticism get to him too much. It's probably a good thing to get off social media for a bit.
Colorado is set to face BYU in a bowl game on Saturday night.
