Tom Brady was on fire in the booth Saturday night's Commanders-Lions game on FOX.

Most notably, Brady called out a critical, and embarrassing, error by the Lions as it happened, imploring the team to call a timeout when it had 12 players on the field before a 4th-and-2 play at the Detroit 5-yard line with 14:15 left in the game. The Lions coaching staff didn't realize what Brady did though, and Detroit was penalized, giving the Commanders a crucial first down, which they immediately turned into an important insurance touchdown.

Later in the fourth quarter, with Washington leading 45-31 and 4:57 on the clock, Brady cracked a joke about new Commanders owner Josh Harris making his way down to the team's sideline before the game was finished.

"Not sure coach Quinn likes owners coming down on the field before the game is over," Brady quipped.

"Oh jeez," said his partner Kevin Burkhardt in response.

If you're wondering what Brady was referring to, Quinn was the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI when owner Arthur Blank infamously appeared on the sideline ready to celebrate before the game ended.

You all know what happened next. Atlanta blew a 28-3 lead to Brady and the New England Patriots, losing 34-28 in overtime. The Falcons have won only one playoff game since.

That's a moment Quinn most definitely wants to forget.

We're not sure if Quinn saw Harris, and if he had any flashbacks if he did. Either way, the Commanders won 45-31 to lock up the franchise's first NFC Championship Game appearance in 33 years.

"There will be a time to look back and reflect," Quinn said following the game, "but I'm not there yet."

Now, the Commanders can sit back and watch today's Eagles-Rams game to see who they will play in the NFC title game next Sunday afternoon. Washington will be on the road again for that matchup, no matter who they will face.
