Meet Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Kylie Dickson (1:05)

It doesn't appear that the Dallas Cowboys will be getting back DeMarcus Lawrence for this Monday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones recently confirmed that it's probably going to be another week before Lawrence is ready to play.

"Probably a long shot for Monday night, but it's not out of the question," Jones said on 105.3 The FAN, (first transcribed by ProFootballTalk). "We'll see how this week goes."

Lawrence has been out since he suffered a foot injury in week four against the New York Giants. He's been battling the injury for a little over two months but has a shot to return at the end of this season.

Before he got hurt, he was off to a great start, compiling 14 total tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble. The defense hasn't been the same since he got hurt.

The Cowboys are coming off their second win in a row after beating the Giants 27-20 on Thanksgiving last Thursday. It got them to 5-7 and prompted star pass rusher Micah Parsons to tell the media that the Cowboys aren't done yet.

Granted, the Cowboys still have a big hill to climb to make the playoffs since they have to run the table but Parsons is confident that they can do it.

They'll try to make it three wins in a row when they host the 4-8 Bengals next Monday. This is a reeling Bengals team after their latest loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers this past Sunday.

They once again scored 30+ points but their defense couldn't get the job done and allowed the Steelers to score at will.

Kickoff will be at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
