After acquiring Buffalo Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam, the Cowboys have reportedly made another trade in hopes of bolstering the defensive side of the ball.

The Cowboys sent a 2025 fifth-round pick and 2026 seventh-round pick to the Bills in exchange for Elam and a sixth-rounder in this year's draft. The 24-year-old spent the last three seasons in Buffalo and started 12 games.

Now per the NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Dallas has agreed to a deal with Tennessee to land Titans linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr. — which includes a pick swap.

Murray was a first-round pick of the LA Chargers coming out of Oklahoma back in 2020 and has turned himself into a reliable starter in the National Football League.

Murray racked up 321 tackles, five sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble in 59 games with the Bolts before signing a deal with the Titans last March. He then started all 14 games for Brian Callahan's team where he recorded career-highs in sacks and tackles for loss.

Jerry Jones recently expressed that he doesn't believe "aggressive" is the right word for how the Cowboys will attack free agency — saying that he believes the draft is a more effective place to fill whatever holes may remain on the roster.

"I don't think aggressive is the right word," Jones told the team's website. "I wouldn't call us really void in any area... If you include what we're going to do in the draft, I wouldn't see that… I'm not looking at free agency as a place to fill voids."

But Jones did tease that Dallas could be in the market for some trades this offseason and that's appeared to hold true thus far.

Even if they aren't necessarily the type of moves that will excite Cowboys Nation about their Super Bowl chances this fall.
