A common complaint about ESPN over the last several years has been that the network is too focused on certain players, teams or leagues.

Fans will often cite the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox as an example, or the Dallas Cowboys or Los Angeles Lakers.

LeBron James is a frequent topic on ESPN, and some fans felt that Friday's edition of "First Take" was simply too much.

One social media user took a screenshot from Friday's "First Take" showing Stephen A. Smith's list of the top five names Bronny James should call LeBron on the court next season.

"Zero talk about the incoming draft class either I bet," said one fan.

"It's shameless how much they milk the LeBron James cow," another fan said.

"The sooner yall stop thinking of First Take as an educational, analytical sports show and start thinking of it as an entertaining show with crazy takes and goofy segments I promise it'll make your life easier," one fan said.

"2012-2019 Stephen A was special. Don't know who this guy is," one fan claimed.

"Seems like an average First Take topic," another fan quipped.

"I remember there was a channel dedicated to showing all the sports highlights of the previous day…," one fan said.

"LeBron feeding families especially during the off seasons this is disgusting lol," another fan laughed.

With several weeks until the start of NFL training camp, there could be a long summer of these kinds of segments to look forward to on "First Take" or other debate-style shows.

The Summer Olympics will hopefully provide more actual sports content over the summer, as fans are clearly upset with some of the programming at the national level.
