As usual, Troy Aikman is on the call tonight for Monday Night Football between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants.

When you've broadcast NFL games for as long as Aikman has, you're guaranteed to tick off members of pretty much every fanbase in the league. Tonight, Steelers fans are taking aim at Aikman on social media, largely because of his reaction to an illegal shift call on New York rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers, which negated a touchdown pass from Daniel Jones to Chris Manhertz.

Aikman could not understand why the penalty was called, while black and yellow supporters were convinced that not only was Aikman wrong about disagreeing with the call, he had actually been showing his bias against Pittsburgh throughout the first half.

"Troy Aikman was ready to come out and fist fight referees over that illegal shift call. When the literal rules analyst is telling him he never got set. Relax. It's okay to be wrong #HereWeGo," one Steelers fan said.

"Troy Aikman is not even hiding his bias towards the Steelers. My man has a full blown hard on for the Giants right now," another Steelers fan added.

"Troy Aikman absolutely lost right now on that Nabers penalty. He's wrong. And he won't shut up about it," chimed in Pittsburgh radio host Andrew Filipponi.

"Troy Aikman, yet again, showing his disgust with anything relating to the Steelers. He's such a documented hater....I love it," a fourth Steelers fan said.

"Troy Aikman acting like that Malik Nabers penalty was a capital offense. Let it go, man. It was a penalty," added Steelers Depot's Alex Kozora.

The Steelers and Giants are currently tied at 9 at halftime in Pittsburgh. Both teams have connected on three field goals as they have been able to move the ball but unable to find the end zone.
