The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to an impressive 4-2 start this season, and Justin Fields has led the quarterback. Fields has started in all six games this season, leading the Steelers to wins through smart game management.

The Steelers began the season with plans to start the recently-signed Russell Wilson, but a calf injury has kept him off the field so far this season.

Pittsburgh is set to face a struggling New York Jets team this week, and they could have the starting quarterback they planned to open the season with.

According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Russell Wilson is set to take first-team snaps this week in practice, and putting him in line to get the start on Sunday night.

Pelissero says that Wilson's calf is fully healed, adding more fuel to the notion that he'll get to start. If he does start, it would be his first time doing so since last season with the Denver Broncos.

Wilson, who received a massive contract extension from the Bronco, was cut by the team despite being owed a large portion of that salary. Fields was traded from the Chicago Bears, who made room for No.1 overall pick Caleb Williams.

Fields and Wilson may be used as a tandem, with Field's speed providing a unique option for head coach Mike Tomlin out of the backfield.

Wilson may be removed from his days as one of the league's most mobile quarterbacks, but he's still able to improvise on broken plays.

Pittsburgh has a young and relatively inexperienced receiver room, and Wilson could rely on contributions from his tight end as he often did in Seattle.

The Steelers are looking to get to 5-2 on the season, a record that could help them in the extremely competitive AFC North. The Ravens look like the division's best team, but the Bengals and Steelers have both shown that they have what it takes to win this season.

We'll see which quarterback begins the game for the Steelers when they face Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets on Monday Nigjht.
