Meet Caitlin Clark's Boyfriend (1:19)

Caitlin Clark makes it incredibly difficult to dislike her with all of the heartfelt or funny answers that she gives to questions. Her recent response to a question about her "biggest fear" is just the latest example.

Appearing at the recent Women's Leadership Summit, Clark was one of several people asked about her "biggest fear." While other members of the panel gave "thoughtful" answers such as "losing" or "fear itself," Clark's answer was a simpler one: Cats.

"I really don't like cats," Clark said, drawing a laugh from the crowd. "There was this black cat on my street growing up, and it was so mean. So, now I'm just — I'm scarred. So, I'm really scared of cats. So, I'm sorry if any of you have a cat. I like dogs a lot. But no cats."

As silly as the answer may sound, fans on social media absolutely loved it - particularly dog-lovers. Cat-lovers, on the other hand, joked that Clark may have lost their support over that statement.

"Caitlin's a real one for that. Dogs forever," one user wrote.

"Only thing I can't agree with her on, I'm the biggest cat fan," wrote another.

"She keeps everything so real. Gotta love that girl," a third declared.

"Is there a better interview in sports right now than Caitlin Clark? I don't think so," another remarked.

2024 really was the year of Caitlin Clark. She led Iowa to the NCAA national championship game, became the top pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, made the All-Star and All-WNBA teams, won Rookie of the Year honors and led the Indiana Fever to the playoffs for the first time in over five years.

Who knows what 2025 has in store for her?
