The Indiana Fever restarted the WNBA's offseason coaching carousel on Friday, bringing back 2023 Coach of the Year Stephanie White to the Hoosier State.

The Chicago Sky were reportedly among several teams with a vacancy on the sidelines hoping to hire the former Connecticut Sun head coach.

Now that White has officially returned to Indiana, though, Chicago has reportedly set its sights on another candidate to replace the fired Theresa Weatherspoon.

The Sky are targeting Las Vegas Aces assistant Tyler Marsh as the team's next head coach, according to Annie Costabile of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Marsh joined Becky Hammon's staff with the Aces in March 2022 following a two-season stint with the NBA's Indiana Pacers as a player development coach.

Broadly credited with helping unanimous reigning MVP A'ja Wilson take her game to new heights, Chicago no doubt hopes Marsh could play a similarly impactful role in the development of standout bigs Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, both of whom earned All-Rookie honors in 2024.

The Sky rocked the WNBA in late September, dismissing Weatherspoon shortly after her debut campaign with the franchise came to a close. Reese made no secret of her thoughts on Weatherspoon's ouster, calling her relationship with the front office into question as Chicago embarked on an increasingly pivotal offseason.

Minnesota Lynx assistant Katie Smith is also under consideration for the Sky's opening at head coach, per the Sun-Times.
