Legendary U.S. Olympian Simone Biles doesn't sound off on non-sports issues very often, but when she does, people listen.
The 11-time Olympic medalist, who won gold in the all-around competition in Paris, France over the summer, is married to NFL player Jonathan Owens. Biles has built up a massive following on social media, with millions of followers across her platforms. Earlier this fall, Biles sent a clear message to her fans on social media.
Biles is not a fan of Donald Trump, his supporters and what could be coming in 2025. Biles is urging President Joe Biden to do everything he can before he leaves office in January.
"Mr Biden, I need you to stand up, straighten your back and make some things shake before your departure. xoxo the women in america," Biles wrote on X.
Biles added that "we deserve better" and added: "I'm SO sorry america."
Biles had previously sounded off on Trump and his supporters. Trump had claimed over the summer that illegal immigrants were taking "Black" and "Hispanic" jobs from deserving Americans. Biles clapped back at the president elect's comment on social media.
"I love my black job," she wrote in response to a post on X by singer Ricky Davila.
The legendary U.S. Olympian is currently wrapping up her 2024 Gold Over America Tour, which featured the iconic gymnast and some of her American teammates.
Biles, 27, isn't ruling out a return to the Summer Olympics in 2028, as they'll be held in the United States. But for now, she's choosing to speak out on social media.
