Simone Biles is gearing up for another Olympic appearance, and she's currently competing at the U.S. Olympic trials in Minnesota.

On Friday night, Biles performed her floor routine to Taylor Swift's "...Ready For It?", dazzling the crowd with acrobatics and technique.

Biles leads after an up-and-down Friday at the 2024 trials. Her floor routine and vault exercise were up to her usual standard, but she ran into some trouble on the balance beam.

Her beam routine ended with a hop, and she was a full point away from the mark that she hit at nationals.

"I'm so upset about beam," Biles told NBC after the event.

"I'm really disappointed in myself because that's not how I train. And so going forward, I'm going to try to compete how I train on that event. Because I know I'm good at it. I know I can do better. So that's what I'm going to work on."

Thankfully, Biles' shaky start on the beam didn't last in the other events. She ended Friday's session with an overall score of 58.900.

She finds herself in first place, just a few days away from making her third consecutive Olympic team. If Biles is able to make the five-gymnast team for Paris, she'll be the favorite to take home the all-around gold medal.

Biles won gold in that event back in 2016, one of four golds and five overall medals for her at those Games.

She added one silver and one bronze medal in Tokyo for a total of seven - tied for the most all-time by an American gymnast.

Biles will compete on Saturday and Sunday at the trials, where the United States will determine the ten gymnasts (five male, five female) who will compete this summer in Paris.
