Shedeur Sanders' True Character Revealed As College GPA Leaks

Shedeur Sanders is considered to be one of the top prospects in the NFL's 2025 draft class. But the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback will soon be studied and analyzed in every way possible. Where will he end up going in the NFL Draft later this year?
The son of Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders had a great two seasons in Boulder. Prior to that, he starred at Jackson State. Shedeur Sanders was one of the top quarterbacks in the country this season, throwing to Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, while recording 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns through the air. His 75.5 QBR ranked No. 20 in the country.
But being a great quarterback is more than just on-field talent. Leadership, poise, character and more all come into play, too. Those are things that Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has thrived with, as he has his team one win away from a Suepr Bowl appearance.
But Shedeur Sanders can show off his character as his GPA at Colorado has leaked.
Shedeur Sanders didn't just thrive on the field at Colorado. He also excelled in the classroom.
The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback had close to a 4.0 GPA during his time in Boulder, despite not attending classes in person. He reportedly had a 3.9 GPA during his time in college.
Deion Sanders spoke about things went in school for Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.
"Ain't none of them on campus because things have changed," Sanders said during an appearance on the Barstool Sports podcast "Million Dollaz Worth of Game."
"Everybody is taking classes online and they graduate. Shedeur has never taken a class on campus in his whole college career. Shilo [Sanders] may have at South Carolina but I don't remember Travis [Hunter] ever being on campus as well. So they missed a whole part of the collegiate experience. But to each his own."
NFL fans have to be impressed by his showing in the classroom heading into the pros.
"Shedeur is a leader. Shedeur works, man. He studies. Kid has a 3.9 GPA. He wants it, man," Deion Sanders said of his son.

GPA isn't everything, of course, but it shows how hard of a worker Shedeur Sanders is. He seems like the kind of quarterback you would want your team to build around.
