Meet Deion Sanders' Future R&B Singer Son-In-Law (1:28)

Shedeur Sanders may ultimately end up being the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft but the Colorado QB knows who the best player in college football is.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, Sanders spoke his truth.

Fans around the nation flooded his mentions.

"didn't know Ashton Jeanty died," a user commented. "prayers up."

"Not even the best player in the conference," another shot back.

"Agreed…" The Coach Lee Show replied. "If Travis Hunter isn't the literal embodiment of a Heisman, I don't know what is."

"Both of y'all would fit well with the Silver and Black," a fan posted.

"No one doing what he doing," another person saluted.

Shedeur isn't the only Sanders that has Hunter's back. During Tuesday's press conference, Coach Prime sounded off on the Buffs' two-way playmaker being snubbed for the Jim Thorpe Award.

"How is Travis Hunter snubbed by the Jim Thorpe Award? You can have my award. You can have it back," Deion said. "I'm going to give him mine. I ain't using it. It's just sitting up there collecting dust. If this ain't the most idiotic thing in college football — that he's not a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award — I don't know what is."

"And he is — I would say, arguably, but I don't think it's really an argument about this young man being the best defensive back in college football. I ain't say nothing about the receiver part of it. I'm just talking about defensive back. He rarely gets thrown at."

Hunter is clearly one of the best players CFB has to offer. We'll see if the Heisman Trust agrees a few weeks from now.
