Shedeur Sanders and other Colorado players are in New York this weekend to support their teammate Travis Hunter, who's a finalist for the Heisman trophy.

Hunter is expected to be one of the top picks in next year's NFL Draft, and so is Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Sanders' father and head coach Deion has indicated that the family could have some influence on where the two players end up, and the quarterback is already building chemistry with a potential future teammate.

During a video filmed for Deion Sanders Jr.'s YouTube channel Well Off Media, Shedeur was seen playing catch in a New York City street with Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers.

With the Giants in need of a new franchise quarterback, the video sparked speculation from NFL fans on social media.

"If you were walking down the streets of NYC and you told someone you saw this but didn't have video evidence, they would think you are crazy," one fan said.

"Nabers make it happen, let's make the big blue great again bruh wtf," an optimistic Giants fan said.

"This the content we like to see," another fan said.

"Yeah it's over I knew he was going to giants when they cut jones," said one fan.

"The most fun Nabers has had all season," another fan said about the former LSU wide receiver.

Another fan responded with a screenshot of Sanders' viral song "Perfect Timing."

The Giants have one of the worst records in the league, putting them in contention to pick Sanders as the first quarterback off the board in the 2025 Draft. After releasing Daniel Jones earlier this season, it seems that the front office is ready to embrace the search for another franchise quarterback.

Many mock drafts have Sanders rated as the top quarterback in the class following another extremely accurate season at Colorado. Sanders threw for 3,926 yards this season, and had 35 touchdowns to only eight interceptions while completing 74.2% of his passes.

We'll see if Sanders ends up in New York in a few months, but the interaction with Nabers suggests there's a level of mutual interest in him becoming a Giant during the next draft.
