Meet The Cheerleading Squads Of The SEC (1:45)

SEC reporter Alyssa Lang has to go up in the air a lot to cover the various games that she's assigned throughout the season. Naturally that's going to result in more than a few bad eggs on her flights.

In her latest airplane horror story, Lang revealed that a person she was sitting next to on a flight was watching a full-length movie on their phone with no headphones - effectively forcing her to listen to it for at least 20 minutes before turning it off.

"Person next to me on my flight is watching a movie on his phone full volume no headphones…. For 20+ minutes… how do you SLEEP AT NIGHT??" Lang wrote on X.

Fans all agreed that that kind of behavior on a flight is unacceptable and deserves to be punished:

"That person should be jailed," Barrett Sallee replied.

"push them out the window," another suggested.

"Jail," a third said bluntly.

While it wasn't the worst experience that Lang ever had - that title still belongs to someone who ate shrimp on a flight - it didn't get much better as the man was asked by a flight attendant to stop, briefly stopped, and then turned it back on after the flight attendant left.

Monstrous. Absolutely monstrous.
