J.D. Vance Has A Message For Ohio State Coach Ryan Day (1:01)

It's rare that an Ohio State-Indiana game has real stakes but the fact of the matter is that if the Buckeyes lose to the Hoosiers this weekend, they'll be on the outside looking in on the Big Ten Championship Game for a fourth year in a row.

Ohio State host the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers at Ohio Stadium this weekend and hold a 9-1 record, with the lone loss coming against the Big Ten's other unbeaten team, 10-0 Oregon. The Buckeyes have not lost multiple Big Ten games in a single season in over a decade and haven't lost to Indiana since 1988. But if those trends end, the Buckeyes will be eliminated from Big Ten title contention.

Ahead of the game, Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day spoke about the Buckeyes' mindset for the game. He made it clear that the Buckeyes are "fired up" for this game and recognize that it's a must-win and said that everyone has to "bring it" this weekend. He wants the fans to be as loud as possible for the noon E.T. kickoff.

"Our guys are fired up for this one. They know that this is a must-win for us. We have to win this game to play in Indianapolis," Day said, via Chase Brown of Eleven Warriors. "The team, the coaches, everybody in this building, the fans know what kind of game this is. We got to bring it on Saturday."

Las Vegas certainly seems to believe that the Buckeyes have this game on lock. They're favored by double digits against the Hoosiers and are 5/1 favorites or better in some sports books.

But no team has found a way to beat the Hoosiers yet while the Ducks have already shown the blueprint on how to get it done. Combine that with the Hoosiers coming off a bye week and the recipe is there for an earth-shattering upset.

And Vanderbilt showed us last month that decades-long droughts can fall with the right combination of circumstances.

Will Ohio State beat the Hoosiers this weekend, or will Indiana stun the world?
