Report: 5-Star Point Guard Boogie Fland Is De-Committing

Yet another 5-star Kentucky commit has reportedly changed his mind following John Calipari's sudden exit.

Per CBS' Jon Rothstein, McDonald's All-American Boogie Fland "has asked for his release from his [national letter of intent] and will re-open his recruitment."

A 6-foot-2 combo-guard out of White Plains, New York, Fland is known as a skilled shooter with the potential to be an impactful on-ball defender at the next level.

He made his official visit to the University of Kentucky back on September 8 and the Wildcats were pretty immediately the favorite to land his services. However, circumstances have changed and Fland is now back on the market.

Fland also received offers from programs such as Alabama, Indiana, Michigan and North Carolina; all of which he took visits to.

With that said it's possible that the Archbishop Stepinac star follows Coach Cal down to Arkansas as part of the Hall of Famer's first recruiting class with the Razorbacks.

When Calipari agreed to terms with the school one of his stipulations was reportedly that he would be able to bring his incoming freshman with him to Fayetteville.

The Wildcats introduced new head coach Mark Pope over the weekend to a massive Rupp Arena crowd and he's likely aiming to bring in his own guys anyway.
